KING COUNTRY RUGBY DISPUTE
FURTHER COMPLICATIONS (Special to THE SUN.) TE KUITI, Wednesday. At a special meeting of the Maniapoto Rugby Sub-Union last night, the dispute regarding the admission of Otorohanga as a sub-union by the King Country Rugby Union was discussed. The following resolution was unanimously carried: “That after hearing the reports of delegates attending the King Country Rugby Union meeting at Taumarunui on July 29, members of the Management Committee of the Alaniapoto Sub-Union resign, as we realise that it is impossible to work in harmony with the parent body, and to carry on under the present condition would not be serving the best interests of football in this district.” RANFURLY SHIELD WAIRARAPA V WELLINGTON?
