I think it is fairly safe to state that last summer the most popular sports rendezvous were our two cold-water baths, and the Parnell bath in particular was packed to capacity on every holiday. Unfortunately, however, owing to the mud floor of this bath, on nine days out of ten the water was extremely dirty, and it was almost necessary to have a shower to get clean again after a swim.
