Stop at Kumeu. —As a result of agitation from Kumeu, the Opua-Auck-land express will stop there for passengers to embark and disembark. Information to this effect has been received from the Minister of Railways, the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, by Mr. J. A. Landen, president of the Kumeu Ratepayers’ Association. The express used to stop at Kumeu years ago. The new service will come into operation next month.
