BOLSHEVIK PLAN SOVIET FEARFUL OF WAR By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Saturday, The Riga correspondent of the Times says the Third (Communist) International has issued a-manifesto urging the workers and peasants throughout the world into a general strike. The stated object of this move are “to compel Imperialists to stop the war against China, and to avert a war against the Soviet, which would synchronise with the 13th anniversary of the Great War, which gave the world Mussolini, Hindenburg and Pilsudski. RUSSIANS IN BRITAIN NO BARRIER TO TRADE By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Saturday. The Home Secretary, Sir William Joynson-Hicks, in a letter to Mr. W. T. Kelly, Labour member for Rochdale, says that neither the Government nor himself desire to place any obstacles in the way of legitimate trade with Russia. The recent action taken in regard to certain Russians who were carrying out hostile propaganda was not intended to apply to all Russians. Sir William said he was willing to afford any needed facilities for bonafide Russians who came to England either to buy English products, or to sell Russian ones.—A. and N.Z. —Sun.
