A Frozen Asset

Ralph was a gay young bachelor who did not intend to be caught. When he went to new towns, as he ofte did in the course of his business, he had a wonderful time with the prettiest girls there. To be safe, he told them sadly of his invalid mother and his large family of orphaned brothers and sisters. He said they could not exist without him. Which was true, for they only existed in his imagination. —“College Humour.”
