LATE MR. H. M. SHEPHERD
The funeral of the late Mr. Henry Medland Shepherd, at Birkenhead Cemetery yesterday afternoon, was largely attended. Services at the residence and grave-side were conducted by the Rev. H. H. Bedford. The Mayor of Birkenhead, Mr. E. G. Skeates, members of the borough council, and the Mayor of Northcote, Mr. A. E. Greenslade, were present. Last evening the Birkenhead Borough Council decided to send a letter of condolence to the relatives of deceased. During his membership of the council in 1906. said the Mayor, Mr. Shepherd had presented the Mayoral eliair now in use.
