Women Adventurers

TWO NEW ZEALANDERS MOTORING IN THE WILDS By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright Reed. Noon. SYDNEY, To-day. Mrs. Gladys Sandforcl and Mrs. Stella Christie, two New Zealand women, have reached Sydney after a strenuous motor journey. Alone they crossed Australia four times, covering 11,000 miles. Starting on March 4 they drove from Sydney to Perth, back to Adelaide, thence to Darwin and back, and returned to Sydney. They had an adventurous time in the wilds, and the little-known country in the Northern Territory, but they overcame all difficulties without mishap.— A. and N.Z.
