MORRINSVILLE FIRE

OUTBREAK IN GARAGE The Morrinsville Fire Brigade was called out for the fourth time lust eveqing within a week to a fire in a garage owned by Mr. J. Dignan and occupied by Mr. Stringfield. The fire had a strong hold when discovered, but a good save was effected by the brigade. The fire was confined to the inside of the building, where a quantity of furniture was stored, owned by Mr. J. Boyd. A strong easterly gale was blowing at the time and it looked serious, but the brigade soon had the flames under control and the danger passed. Several cars and trucks were got out safely and apart from damage to the furniture and the building, the balance of the stock, consisting of several tons of manure, was undamaged.
