Constable Injures Foot. —While Mounted Constable Bruce Thompson was walking down Nolan Screet, Ellerslie, about 6.30 yesterday evening, he slipped on a stone, and broke a small bone in his ankle. He was attended to by Dr. McGregor Grant, and was later able to proceed to his home.
