BENEFIT CONCERT

FOR CLUB CAPTAIN A succesful benefit concert for the boathouse captain to the Victoria Cruising Club, Mr. A. Tupp, was held in the Town Hall concert chamber on Saturday evening. A duet by Messrs. Calvert and Lonerand a ventriloquial turn by Mr. Walter Vernon were very well received. Other items were given by Misses Violet Lambert, Miller, Messrs. J. Stewart, J. Smithson, J. Bruce, L. Bickerton, B. Watson, Samuels, Brown, and C. Willoughby and the Kattern Sisters. Mr. F. Willoughby Brown was the accompanist.
