MUNICIPAL CHOIR
CONCERT ON SATURDAY The Municipal Choir has been unable tc give a concert for some time past owing to the exceptionally heavy bookings of the Town Hall on Saturday nights. It will resume its con*certs on Saturday evening next, when a varied selection of unaccompanied choral works will be performed.
Norma Talmadge’s husband, Joseph M. Scheneck. believes lie has discovered a successor to Rudolph Valentino. ‘This boy,” he said, 4 is Gilbert Rowland. He is a former bull-fighter from Spain, and had never on :ho screen until we cast him as Armand in ‘Camille.’ We plan to star him in a play based on the life of Cellini. This picture was being prepared f,»r Valentino at the time of his death. , Estelle Taylor will play opposite him."
