SPECIAL DELIVERY
A PARAMOUNT COMEDY Eddie Cantor introduces a new version of the Three Musketeers in his latest Paramount comedy, “Special Delivery.” Instead of the conventional trio of buddies who rollick their waythrough the story in fulfilment of the motto, “One for all and all for one,” Cantor introduces a trio of public service musketeers, a fireman, a policeman, and a postman, who are rivals in love, and only run true to form when the object of their rivalry is in danger. Eddie Cantor is the postman, a new chum letter-carrier who blunders into all sorts of hilarious misadventures. Donald Keith is the fireman and Jack Dougherty the policeman on the beat. Tobyna Ralston is the girl for whose favours the three are constantly battling. William Powell, that smooth, suave villain of dramatic roles, is the common enemy against whom the three unite. Others in the cast are Victor i Potel, Paul Kelly and Mary Carr.
