GIRL’S LEG BROKEN

CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE As the result of a collision between a motor-cycle and side-car and a stationary car in Dominion Road about midnight, Miss Mavis McKeown, of 79 Nelson Street, sustained a fracture of the left leg. Miss McKeown was riding in the side-car of the motor-cycle, which was driven by Mr. G. Peat, of Eden Terrace. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, where she is reported to have passed a fairly comfortable night.
