CLUB GAMES “OFF”

A.F.A.’S WEEKLY MEETING At the meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association, Mr. Andrew Menzies presiding, it was decided to postpone all club competition games on Saturday on account of the Soccer test between Canada and Xew Zealand. Club games will also be postponed the following week, when the Canadians play Auckland. A letter was received from the Xew Lynn Football Club in connection with the dismissal of its protest regarding short time played in a second grade match. It was resolved to receive a deputation from the club next Tuesdav evening. Entries in the knock-out competitions were extended until noon next Monday. Permission was granted the Onehunga Club to play a match against Tamaki for the Jordan Cup, on a date to be agreed upon by the clubs. The matter of the business houses competition was considered, and it was resolved to hold the annual meeting in connection with the competition next Wednesday.
