ASSAULTED A THEATRE MANAGER
WANGANUI MAN FINED ( Special to THE SUN.) WANGANUI, To-day. For assaulting Henry Williams, manager of His Majesty’s Theatre, on Saturday night, James Mclntyre was fined £2 and costs at the Magistrate's Court to-day. His Worship considered that the case was not a trivial one, Mr. Williams having been struck while discharging his duties. Accused was under the influence of liquor at the time, and having been refused a ticket, lost control of himself.
