SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL FIXTURE MRS. MASSEY WINS AFFORESTATION CUP The annual championships of the Auckland Table Tennis Association were held hist night. Splendid entries were received, and the meeting was a most successful one. The Wylie Cup was won by F. Paton for the second time in succession, and Mis. Massey went one better by winning the Afforestation Cup for the third time in succession after a close tussle with Miss Ramsay. Mrs. Massey thus wins this trophy outright. At the conclusion of the tournament Mr. D. S. Wylie presented the trophies. Following are the results:— Mens Championship.—First round: F. It. Paton beat Wilson, 31—12, 31—13; A. Semi-final: Miss Ramsay beat Miss Miller, 25—31, 31—25. 31—27; Mrs. Massey beat Miss Marriner, 31—19, 31—17. Final: Mrs. Massey beat Miss Ramsay, 31—27, 31—25. Mrs. Massey won the Afforestation Cup outright.
