Mr. Wynyard also pointed out that as a result of the metalling of the Hangatiki-Kawhia Road, a 200-mile run through the Waitomo County was now available to motorists. The route nrovided excellent scenery, while splendid fishing and shooting were also he said it was hoped, with the cooperation of the local body concerned, to have it surfaced as far as Silverdale jjcfore next winter.
