NEW ATLANTIC FLIGHT
NEW YORK AND BACK British Wireless.—Copyright. RUGBY, Wednesday. Group-Captain C. U. Courtney will, weather permitting, leave the Calshot aerodrome on Saturday in his attempt to fly across the Atlantic and back. The final tests of his Dornier-Napier whale flying boat are to be made tomorrow during an extended flight round the Isle of Wight. The wireless installation and various other de tails will be tested. On Saturday he will fly from Calshot to Valencia, Ireland, where the machine will be filled with petrol, which will take about three hours. Group-Captain Courtenay will then immediately depart for Newfoundland, en route to New York.—A. and N.Z.
