Johnston, of Te Awamutu, leave by the Tofua on Saturday for a trip to the South Sea Islands. * * * Mrs t Hodges, matron of the Hanmer Hospital, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. W. H. Parkes, of Symonds Street. * * Miss Gordon, of Te Aroha, is paying a visit to Auckland and is the guest of Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, Ladies' Mile, Epsom. * * * Mrs. C. T. Moresby, of Timaru, arrived in Auckland this morning from Wellington, and will remain here for a few weeks before going to. Sydney. Mrs. W. H. Stedman, of Wellington, is paying a visit to Auckland and is the guest of Mrs. H. N. Robertson, of Remuera.
