PIONEER DIES IN LONDON

LATE MR. T. W. JONES Mr. Thomas William Jones, of Grange Road, Mount Eden, lias died in London. He and Mrs. Jones left last March on a trip to England. Born in England 71 years ago, Mr. Jones came to New Zealand, and lived here for over 40 years, carrying on business in Auckland until his retirement a few years ago. He was associated with the Methodist Church, being a trustee of the Pitt Street Church, and also a member of the Connexional Committees. He was a member of the Ponsonby Bowling Club, and was treasurer for a time.

A sister of the late Mr. Jones. Mrs. J. R. Strange, lives at Ellerslie.
