BOOKMAKING CHARGES
TWO AT TAUMARUNUI REMAND TO JULY 28 Brest Association. TAUMARUNUI, To-day. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, William West and Thomas Barrett were charged with carrying cn business as bookmakers. The two accused elected to be tried by jury, and tho case was adjourned until July 28. Bail was allowed at £SO and one surety of £SO each.
