MO IMMEDIATE LEGISLATION TO REMOVE ANOMALIES (From, Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, To-day. Disappointment was expressed at the meeting of the Hospital Board today when the Minister for Health intimated that no immediate legislation was in prospect to give relief to bodies having a large Maori population and the anomalous position of county councils being assessed for a hospital levy on native lands from which no rate could be collected. The Minister stated the whole question required the utmost consideration before any legislative action could be contemplated.
