The Wanganui branch of the Farmers’ Union yesterday considered a proposal that the Meat Board erect storage premises on the Thames. London. but it was not sympathetically received. Speakers averred that there was plenty of storage space available ,n London for leasing purposes without saddling the New Zealand producers with thousands of pounds expenditure unnecessarily. Discussion was adjourned for furthe:- information concerning the Meat ■Board’s operations.
