HOBSON BAY’S FATE
MEETING OF PROTEST COMMITTEE’S ACTIVITIES The Hobson Bay Preservation Committee has postponed its public meeting until Friday, July 22. The committee had called a meeting of protest against the industrialisation of Hobson Bay for last evening, but owing to certain happenings it was postponed. In the meantime the committee is endeavouring to obtain the views and plans of the Auckland City Council, the Harbour Board and the Railway Department. It is expected that some definite statements will be placed before the meeting on July 22.
