Other Chinese diplomats in Europe are declining the appointment.—A. and 5.2. 1 Geneva cablegram of July S stated hit the Chinese delegate to the League -Nations. Mr. Chu Chao-hsin, had written to the Secretary-General, Sir Kric nrummond, resigning from the Council. ~ chu said he had decided to join the Chinese Nationalist Government. The Peking Government therefore has no renresentative at Geneva. When it reeled it ß diplomats from Europe Mr. Chu went to Geneva and latterly had been representing: the Peking Government at his own expense.
