HOSPITAL BEQUEST

RELINQUISHMENT ASKED Some years ago a Mr. G. A. King died at Purua, Whangarei, and left a bequest of £IOO to the hospital board, together with the residue of his estate upon the death of his widow. It was now desired by the widow to sell the property and return to Belgium, and the board was asked to relinquish its bequest and trust. At a meeting on Monday the question was discussed, but while the board did not wish to be hard, legal difficulties were in the way. It was decided to discuss the matter with the solicitors, and see what could be done.
