TAIHAPE DAIRY FACTORY
A PROFITABLE YEAR Shareholders of the Taihape Dairy Company were congratulated at the annual meeting upon the excellent results obtained last season. For the months of June, July and August the company paid out Is 6d per lb. for first-grade butter-fat and Is 4d per lb. in September. The output of 364 tons was a record. The accounts showed a surplus for distribution of £7,235 4s Bd, and it was proposed to allocate this as follows: —Bonus of 23-8 d per lb. on all supply from October, 1926, to May, 1927 (inclusive), £6,072 13s 7d; dividend of 5 per cent, on paid-up capital £455 4s 7d; general reserve, £150; carry forward, £557 6s 6d. Messrs. D. G. Goodrick and G. K* Terry were appointed to the directorate.
