OHAKUNE DRUIDS

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Miro Lodge was held last week, there being 5S members present. Visitors included P.D.P. Bro. Crawford, Hamilton, Bro. Hamlyn, Stratford, and 14 members from Ohakune. A.ID. Bro. E. E. Davis presided. The bards reported that the three members on the sick list were progressing favourably. During the evening three new members were initiated and seven were proposed for membership. D.P. Bro. Drury, on behalf of the lodge, presented P.A. Bro. Willoughby with a P.A. collar, and in doing so referred to the able and faithful way lie had fulfilled his term of office. Bro. Willoughby suitably replied. After the lodge closed a most enjoyable supper was served, and a good social time was spent, interspersed with songs and musical items.
