THREE WINNERS DIVIDE £lo PRIZE

SUN FOOTBALL COMPETITION THE chances of the prize for . . the SUN'S Football Competition taking a leap from £lO to £2O were removed again last week by three competitors who were successful in placing all teams in their correct positions. Twentyseven coupons were received with only one mistake, and most of these found the stumbling block to be the draw in the Soccer, North Shore v. Onehunga. The two big representative Rugby matches, Auckland v. New Zealand Maoris and Hawke's Bay v. Wairarapa, did not appear to give any bother to the majority of the competitors. The abandoned match between Trams and Ponsonby in the Soccer was not counted. C. Davenport, Rawene Road, Birkenhead, J. D. McGuire, 20 Brown Street, Ponsonby, and T. Shepherd, 27 Alpha Road, Parnell, who are the three successful winners of the * competition, will have the £lO prize divided among them.
