MAORI FOOTBALLERS
OFF TO ROTORUA FAREWELL AT AUCKLAND The Maori Rugby team left Auckland this morning for Rotorua. At the railway station representatives of the Auckland Rugby Union bade them farewell. The visitors expressed their appreciation of the arrangements made for their visit to Auckland, and of the impartiality of the public at the match against Auckland at Eden Park on Saturday. Before leaving Auckland the Maoris presented Mr. Arthur Tilley with a pipe and case, in appreciation of what he had done to make their stay in Auckland an enjoyable one.
