N.Z. Hockey Team

J. SOPER INCLUDED Mr. L. C. Kent, of Auckland, one of the three selectors of the Bominion hockey team which will tour Australia this month, has received advice that J. Soper, the Canterbury fullback, is available, and has been included in the New Zealand team. Last season Soper was in brilliant form, and his exhibitions in the test matches against the Indian Army team proved him to be one of the finest fullbacks in the country. H. Hookham, the fast Auckland right wing, who recently broke a small bone in his left leg, is making a quick recovery, and will probably make the trip to Australia. 7
