PAPATOETOE TENNIS BALL

SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION TROPHIES PRESENTED Favoured with tine weather, the Papatoetoe Tennis Ball, held in the Town Hall, Papatoetoe, last evening was one of the most brilliant functions held this season in the district. There was a record attendance of dancers, and one and all spent a most enjoyable evening, dancing to the intriguing music of Shorland’s Orchestra. The hall was lavishly decorated with multi-coloured streamers, suspended from the centre of the hall, and forming a circular canopy over the whole room; the walls were decked with greenery, and the stage was heavily laden with palms and foliage, with Japanese lanterns swaying from the boughs.
