ATHENIC SAILS FINALLY FROM AUCKLAND. —Leaving Brisbane on Monday next for Wellington, where she is due on July 10, the White Star liner Athenic commences loading there, and later fills up at Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. She is due here about July 26. and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on July 30 for Southampton and London via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Company will be the local agents for the Athenic. CANADIAN PIONEER SAILING.— Bound for New York. Boston and Montreal. the Canadian Government Line steamer. Canadian Pioneer, was to leave Auckland this .afternoon on her homeward trip. Originally scheduled to sail last evening, the vessel's departure was delayed by rain, and her sailing was postponed till early this afternoon.
COASTAL MOVEMENTS—
The Haggersgate is to leave New Plymouth about Tuesday next for Newcastle for bunkers. The Huntingdon arrived at Bluff yesterday from Port Chalmers. to complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo and to continue loading. The West Navaria sails from Lyttelton to-morrow for Dunedin and New Plymouth to land the balance of her Pacific Coast cargo. The Port Pirie leaves Gisborne to-night for Napier to continue her loading for London. The Gunbar should arrive at Auckland during the night and is expected to leave at 10 p.m. on Monday on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier via bays. The Kaiapoi, from Sduth Australia, via Dunedin, sailed from Lyttelton at 9.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland direct. She is due here about Monday and, after discharge, proceeds to Portland to complete. The Waipiata leaves Dunedin to-night via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. She is due here about Saturday next. The Wingatui should arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Lyttelton, and, after discharge here, loads again for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Timaru. She is expected to leave here next Tuesday. The Waimea left Gisborne at 4.30 p.m. yesterday and leaves Napier at 9 p.m. today for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday. The Kaimanawa is to clear Portland to-night for Wellington and Lyttelton, thence Westport, where she will load for Auckland. The Port Dunedin arrived at Auckland this morning from Wellington to continue her discharge of London cargo. She leaves next Wednesday to complete and to commence her Homeward loading. The Kurow, from Bluff and way ports, left Wellington at 9 p.m. yesterday for Auckland arrives here on Sunday. After discharge at this port, she will undergo her annual overhaul and survey here. The Wirral arrived at Wellington yesterday afternoon from Napier and sails to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui to land the balance of her New York cargo. The Tekoa reached Lyttelton to-day from Wellington and leaves on Tuesday for Dunedin and New Plymouth to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo. The Matakana leaves New Plymouth to-day for Wellington to continue her loading for London. The Mako arrived this morning from the coast with a cargo of wool for the Canadian Pioneer. After discharging her cargo she lays up for annual overnaul and survey. The Awahou is expected to arrive from the coast during the week-end. She loads on Monday and Tuesday for the return trip, and sails on Tuesday evening for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. , , The Putiki completes her annual overhaul and survey shortly, and replaces the Mako in the East Coast trade. She loads on Monday and Tuesday for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. The Hauiti, sailing for Coromandel at 2 o’clock this afternoon, returns to port again at 1 p.m. to-morrow. The Ngapuhi, leaving for Tauranga at 7 o’clock this evening, returns again at 7 a.m. on Sunday. The Rangitoto, sailing for Thames at 3 30 o’clock this afternoon, is due back again at 12.30 p.tn. to-morrow.
