EVERYBODY’S
“FASHIONS FOR WOMEN” Fifteen of the most beautiful mannequins to be found in the United States, and two nationally prominent screen favourites, appear in the cast of Esther’s Ralston’s first Paramount starring vehicle, “Fashions for Women.” which is now being shown at Everybody’s Theatre. Supporting Miss Ralston are Einar Hanson, the handsome Swedish reading man, and Raymond Hatton, who will be remembered for his comedy roles in “Behind the Front" and "We’re in the Navy Now.” In this production, which was directed by Dorothy Arzner, one of the few women ever promoted to a directorial position. Miss Ralston plays the dual roles of a cigai'ette-girl and the queen of Parisian fashiondom. By far the most lavish photo-play sequence seen in months is the gorgeous fashion show in which the mannequins appear. These models wear more than a score of colourful gowns, created especially for the production by Travis Bant on.
