LATE MR. W. M. LLOYD

Mr. William Morris Lloyd, who in earlier j'ears was a prominent Auckland resident, died recently in Brisbane. . Mr. Lloyd was associated with Messrs. Brogden and Sons, builders of the Auckland-Mercer railway, and was the first traffic manager of that line. In 1575, he resigned in order to join the South British Insurance Company, and went to Brisbane as Queensland manager. He served as a volunteer iq the Maori War and was a prominent yachtsman and a keen rifle shot. Mr. Lloyd is survived by his wido,w and three sons, who are in Queensland, and one daughter who is in New Zealand.
