MANY APPLICATIONS HOUSING PROBLEM ACUTE (THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter .) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Minister of Finance will be asked by Mr. R. McKeen (Wellington South) that in order to deal more effectively with workers’ loans for dwellings, further money should be provided through the State Advances Department. Hundreds of applications were awaiting attention, he said, and the housing problem was still acute.
