AN ANNIVERSARY
CHARMING PARTY Mrs. Purser was the hostess at a charming dinner party last evening given in celebration the the anniversary of her wedding day. She entertained a number of intimate friends at dinner and then later the party adjourned to Dixieland, where a delightful evening was spent in dancing. Mrs Purser wore a pretty gown of iridescent orchid pink sequins fashioned on slim straight lines. Her guests included the following: Mrs. Long, whose frock was cx dainty ivory georgette. Mrs. Gallagher, wearing a scintillating frock of white sequins. Mrs. Alison in a beaded frock of gold georgette. Mrs. Gillies, wearing an absinthe green gown of georgette. Mrs. Lewis, in a frock of apricot georgette. Miss G. Russell, in a dainty gown of apple green panne velvet prettily trimmed with fur. Miss Goldwater, whose frock was of almond green crepe de chine. Miss Beecham. in a dainty blush pink georgette frock. Messrs. Purser, Long. Gallagher. Burret, O’Loughlin. Terry Smith, H9lgate and Payne were also guests.
