NATIVE PRISONERS ESCAPE
AT LARGE IN PAPUA BUSH BREAK FROM RABAUL GAOL
By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 9.45 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Confirmation has been received of the escape of a number of natives awaiting trial on a charge of murder in New Guinea. They cleared out of Rabaul gaol while in the charge of a native warder, and so far have eluded capture in the bush.
