YOUNG CLERK’S LAPSE
ADMITTED TO PROBATION (From Our Own Corresvoncient.) HAMILTON, Wednesdaj’. Robert Fairliie Bennett, a young married man, employed as a clerk on the New Zealand railways, at Frankton, pleaded guilty on two charges of theft in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, the goods concerned being a mandolin and suitcase. Accused was admitted to two years’ probation.
