GIFT TO HEALTH INSPECTOR

BUSINESS MEN’S ESTEEM A presentation, in the form of a canteen of cutlery, was made to Mr. George White at Northcote last evening on behalf of the business men (particularly the plumbers and drainers), of Northcote and Birkenhead. The gift was handed to Mr. White by Mir. A. E. Greenslade, the Mayor of Northcote. Mr. White, who was the Health Department inspector in the Birkenhead and Northcote districts, has been transferred to Thames.
