DUNEDIN UNEMPLOYED
NUMBER INCREASING WORK FOR MARRIED MEN Press Association. DUNEDIN, Tuesday. After purging the rolls, the names of 414 unemployed still remain on the Labour Department’s books in Dunedin. About 50 men were placed in work last week. The figures show that unemployment is increasing slowly. A week ago unemployed totalled 424. Of to-day’s total 186 are married, and 228 single. A selection of 50 men for Corporation works was completed last night. All these men are married.
