ATHLETICS

CHAMPION FIXTURES (Special to THE SUN.) WANGANUI, To-day. In reply to a letter from the Canterbury Centre regarding the New Zealand championships, the Wanga-nui-Taranaki Athletic Centre has decided in favour of the 100 yards final and one mile championships being held at English Park on Saturday night, but if possible the heats in the cycle events should be held previous to Saturday night. The centre decided to support the Otago Centre in its motion that the selection committee should consist of five members, one for each centre.
