RADIO CLUB PROTESTS
GOVERNMENT CONTROL URGED Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, To-day. The local radio club has passed a resolution on lines similar to those adopted by other clubs, protesting against the quality of programmes supplied by the Radio Broadcasting Company. The club suggests longer hours, fewer silent nights, and an alteration of the wave lengths in the Dominion so as not to clash with Australian stations. The club also expressed regret at the loss of the services of Mr. J. M. Prentice. It urges Government control, as in its opinion the company fails to give an adequate service.
