DEATH AT PATERANGI
A very old and respected settler of Paterangi, Mr. Alexander Tohnston. who had reached the age of 93, passed away on Monday evening. The late Mr Johnston Was born in Dumfries, Scotland, and was a typical product of the land of Burns and of a most kindly disposition. Before coming to this distnct he resided for a number of years near Masterton. He leaves a widow and grown-up family.
