WIN FOR OPOTIKI PLAYER'S RIBS BROKEN (From Our Own Correspondent .) OPOTIKI, To-day. The representative Rugby match, played between Whakatane and Opotiki seniors on the Domain at Opotiki on Saturday, was won by Opotiki by 21 points to 13. For Opotiki E. Parkinson, D. Parkinson, Craig and Kelly scored one try each. Davies kicked a penalty goal and converted three tries for Whakatane. Harawera, Russell and Mate scored a try each and Nieku converted two. The match was a very interesting one. Opotiki at one stage was leading by 16 points to nil. Whakatane then attacked vigorously, scoring 13 points in a few minutes. Opotiki added five points just before time was called. J, Lariner, one of the Opotiki players, had a rib fractured. ______
