HELP FROM PAPAKURA

A concert organised by the Papakura Huia Girls’ Club in aid of the Rev. Jasper Calder’s Unemployed Fund was held on Friday night in the Parish Hall. There was a very large attendance. The girls staged the sketch ‘‘Kleptomania,” which proved the star attraction of the evening. The following also contributed to the programme:—Mrs. (Dr.) Mcßae, Mrs. W. Mcllraith, Miss Turner, Messrs. C. S. Beechey, L. Kernott, F. Walker, J. O’Neill, and T. C. S. Eaton. The accompaniments were played by Mr. P. Hardman. The entertainment was followed by a dance.
