RESTRICTING PENDULUM STROKE By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Friday. The Billiards Control Council unanimously decided to limit the pendulum stroke, and has instructed the Rules Committee to deliberate on the most satisfactory method for restricting it.—A. and N.Z. The pendulum shot was invented some time ago by Reece, the English professional, who made several great breaks with it. The balls are concentrated at the jaw of a corner pocket, and each cannon is so played as to keep the swing.
