PONSONBY BOWLING CLUB
SUCCESSFUL SEASON REVIEWED At the annual meeting of the Ponsonby Bowling Club there was a good attendance of members. Mr. A. W. Bryant presided. The annual report showed that the past season was a very successful one. The following officers were elected for the 1927-28 season: President, Mr. R. A. Drummond; vice-presidents, Mr. J. Torrance and Mr. R. S. Somervell; hon. secretary, Mr. H. J. Colebrook; hon. treasurer, Mr. D. M. Dougherty: committee, Messrs. F. Carbines, J. Conway, J. H. P. Allen, and E. Farrow; selector, Mr. A. Parsons; hon. auditor, Mr. G N. Baggett; hon. reporters, Messrs. D. M. Dougherty and Gray, jun.; delegates to centre, Messrs. R. A. Drummond, H. J. Colebrook, and A. Parsons; coach for first-year players, Mr. J. Conway; green superintendent, Mr. A. Parsons, assistant superintendent, Mr. J. Rolfe; club umpires, Messrs. J. Torrance, T. H. Chapman, and EL Farr«"*
