Reed. 9.21 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Scotland won the toss. Rain delayed the beginning of the match. The wicket was soft. Stevenson and Graves, in a second wicket partnership, made 63 in 35 minutes, but otherwise the batting was dull. The New Zealanders missed several easy catches. Page bowled splendidly.
The visitors went in to bat and scored at the rate of one a minute. Bernau and Oliver opened briskly, and the partnership yielded 59, Two wickets are down for 90. Details:
