WALKED INTO TRAIN

OLD MAN SERIOUSLY HURT Press Association. HASTINGS, Thursday. As the Wellington-Napier express was crossing the Heretaunga Street crossing this evening, Mr. Mitchell Toher, an old man of 80, was knocked down and seriously injured. He apparently walked into the rear end of one of the carriages. He suffered an abrasion between the eyes an injury to his left leg and thigh and shock. Mr. Toher was removed to the Napier Hospital In a serious condition.
